Woops. The wordpress app didn’t update the posts, and that damn seizure makes stuff come back to me as I see them… So yeah. I’ll still keep this whole post there.
____________________________

So, it’s really been almost 5 months? Sorry to keep y’all (If anyone) waiting. It’s been a fun filled and fairly awesome summer for me!

Let’s start with May! I don’t really remember it much, but it was my 1 year aniversary of being seizure free! At least til August, but we’ll get to that in a bit. So that’s may! =]

June! =] it was fun! I graduatificated from Middle School, even got an award for being a team leader or something. Really started talking to some old friends and hanging out. It was a very rainy month, but I managed to get a pool party in for some friends and I at the end of it. =] 1 more month down!

The summer just FLEW by. It was very rainy and so the few weeks that it was sunny was when me and my friends finally realized that July was over, and it was time to start doing some summer reading and stuff.

July was, again, very quick, and I don’t really remember most of it. I remember talking to my friends a lot, going to see Drake Bell with Ashley, and walking 6 miles to Yankee homecoming with Dylan. Oh yeah, I also went to a family friend’s wedding. =] Did a little putting on the green at te reception too. Haha.
It was just such a quick summer month!

It kinda annoys me that everything is going so fast now. It seems like just yesterday I was walking into my first year of middle school! Everything’s flying by, and I just pray that I can keep up with it all.

Anyways! On to August, great fun. I went to CAMPS (Christ As My Personal Savior) for a week. It’s the enlongated version of SnowCamps (see previous post on snow camps). This is where the fun begins. On Friday, the day before camp ended, we had just gotten back from breakfast, and we were at Morning Gathering, when I had a Grand Mal seizure.

Basically, I scared the shit out of everyone. I was taken to the hospital, and they ran an EKG and they did some blood work. Nothing came
up, and I was cleared to go back to CAMPS and finish off the week. My dad had to stay with me, but it was great! I met so many new great people who love God just as much as I do. They’re all so great and funny (looking).

I’ll do a whole post on the seizure later.

Anyways, I’m back from camps, and just trying to get all my school work done. Ugh.

Damn iPod crashed so I’m rewriting this end section…

I’m just so excited to be a freshman. It’s another step on my way to becoming an adult. I’m also kinda anxious, so if you all could just say a quick prayer for me to keep me safe and to always keep my eyes on the ultimate goal: Jesus.

Anyways, I’m off to bed. Good night and God Bless.

Your brother in Christ,

Well, This weekend I had the BEST experience of my life. It’s a little thing called Snow C.A.M.P.S. It’s an acronym for Christ As My Personal Savior, and it was AWESOME! I went as a second year camper, and loved every minute of it. I got sooooo much out of it and I grew in my faith a ton.

I find myself praying a lot more and just trusting that God knows what is going to happen, when its going to happen, and why it will happen. I just had such an awesome time, and I’m going to CAMPS (The week-long summer version) this summer, as well as being staff on the Snow CAMPS weekend next year. I met a lot of new people, just to name a few, Tina, Sarah, Margaret, Luis, Zach, Will, Chris, and a TON more.

I am currently suffering from P.S.C.D (Post Snow Camps Depression/Disorder) and proably will suffer from it forever…and ever…and ever.

Just thought I’d share that with you. Expect a lot more religion and faith stuff out of this website

PS: I’ve started development on my site. Progress can be viewed at http://neilhanlon.com/dev/

God Bless,
