And so 2009 has come to an end, and in it’s place comes 2010. I’m going to take a look back onto what’s happened in 2009.
I’ve:
Got a new domain (neilhanlon.com)
Increased my traffic tenfold
Advanced my computer knowledge
Learned lots more PHP, CSS, and XHTML.
Met tons of great new people
Broken things
Experienced Jesus in many ways
Debated
Been diagnosed with epilepsy
Been in a Silver Medal winning Marching Band
Shall I continue? I think not. Just looking back through this past year has been crazy. There’s so many things I told myself I was going to do, and then never did. But I’ve also done a whole lot of other things I didn’t think I was going to do. 2009 was, besides Obama, a great year, and I can only expect better things from this one. Although 2010 has only brought snow so far, I believe that this year will be full of joy, happiness, and most importantly–more blog posts.
I haven’t finished the Christmas theme if you didn’t notice, but it’s okay.. I’ll have it for next year!
Also, midterms are coming up in school, so I may be just leaving this stagnant for a little bit… But I’ll be able to pop in from time to time. Oh, and follow me on Twitter (@NeilHanlon and @VizoXidyDesign
And so, I leave you now with this:
Make 2010 the best year it can be. But leave that resolutions crap at the door. There’s no place for it. Just know what you need to do, and try to accomplish your goals. “Men plan, God laughs.”
